La ligne de jouets de Mattel étant populaire, Marvel a publié 20 numéros de Shogun Warriors en 1979-1980. Raydeen, Combattra et Dangard Ace sont les trois robots géants avec un pilote humain à bord, prêts à combattre les forces du mal! Shogun Warriors were licensed in 1979–1980 for a 20–issue series by Marvel Comics, with the team of Doug Moench and Herb Trimpe. The giant robots were operated by humans from all around the world to battle evil. Marvel was only able to license three Shogun Warriors: Raydeen, Combattra and Dangard Ace.
