C'est en 1954 qu'un sous-comité du sénat américain sur la délinquance juvénile obligea les éditeurs de bande dessinées d'horreur à se recycler ou fermer boutique. Harvey allait cesser leur anthologie Chamber of Chills pour se concentrer sur des titres pour jeunes tel Little Dot et Richie Rich. The first Chamber of Chills was an horror anthology published bimonthly by Harvey Publications that ran 26 issues, from june 1951 to december 1954. Dr. Fredric Wertham's 1954 indictment of comic books Seduction of the Innocent forced Harvey to cease publication following the Senate Subcommittee on Juvenile Delinquency hearings. Harvey went from horror to titles for young children, like Little Dot and Richie Rich. Shame on you, Dr Wertham.
