Au début des années 30, Robert L. Ripley avait en sa possession ce qu'il présentait comme un enfant réduit à une petite taille par les Jivaros. Attaboy, tel était son surnom, a disparu de la collection de Ripley. Attaboy was a mummified 6.5 inch baby from Bolivia, a shrunken human body from the Jivaro Indians of Peru. Because he was on loan to Ripley and disappeared, it is hard to have proof that it was a real thing.
